Women in the City manages a range of activites and services which include:

Annual Celebration Lunch

The first Women in the City lunch was held in 2003 and has become one of the City's signature events. Bringing together over 350 like-minded professional women, as well as some men, the Women in the City Celebration Lunch which is held on the last Friday in November is motivating, inspirational and a great way to reward and recognise the contribution of women in your organisation and provides an unique corporate hospitality occasion. 

Annual Awards Programme

There are 3 Women in the City Awards. All recognise the achievements of professional women working in London's business hubs - the City, Canary Wharf and the West End. 

The Future Leaders award is new for 2010 and recognises the talents of women at the start of their careers.
Introduced in 2007, our highly sought after, Woman of Achievement award celebrates the leadership skills of senior and partner level women whilst the Lifetime Achievement award introduced in 2009 recognises a woman who is reaching the end of her career and has worked tirelessly to support the progress of women in the professions.

Annual Symposium

The Women in the City Annual Symposium offers an opportunity for facilitated discussion and debate between audience (both men and women) and panelists on a current hot topic. Our inaugural Annual Symposium on Risk took place in July 2009 at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in London with a live video link to its Chicago campus. 

Cutting Edge

Produced in a high-quality glossy magazine format the content of Cutting Edge is of interest to women and men alike. With a range of articles and features and with a strong business focus, Cutting Edge is published bi-annually. Between magazine editions we produce Cutting Edge LITE, our monthly e-zine.

Services

Women in the City offers a channel to market for organisations wishing to reach influential professional business women and we're experienced at building partnerships with international, high profile brands as well as growing, niche brands.

We have the ability to broker relationships between individuals and organisations and our Founder & Director, Gwen Rhys,  is a skilled facilitator and conference speaker and consults widely on the topic of social capital investment and management.

Our social events have what others describe as "that special atmosphere" and we'll be delighted to help you organise your corporate events so that they maximise opportunties for like-minded people to build, nurture and leverage relationships.
