It is wonderful to receive this award and acknowledge my success to date in this way, though I would like to say my success is largely due to the help and support from my family and friends

Louise was born in Sidcup, Kent, and spent most of her formative years in Nottingham gaining ten O Levels at Our Lady’s Convent School for Girls and three A Levels at West Bridgeford School.

She studied for her HCIMA at Blackpool and Fylde Catering College.  Her first job was at the Royal National Theatre on the South Bank where she remained for 13 years, ending up as Deputy Head of Catering leading a team of 150 staff.

Next for Louise was a move into Corporate Facility Management working for Financial Printers RR Donnelley for six years, managing the European HQ.  Achievements included heading up three major office relocations in London, Paris, and Frankfurt, and progressed to Worldwide Hospitality Manager.

Louise then moved to Barclays Wealth as Service Excellence Manager, designing Front of House Service Standards and a new Operating model at their flagship site in Mayfair.

In August 2008 Louise moved to RSA as Senior Building Manager at its UK Head Quarters.  After seven months she was elevated to Acting Head of Property & FM heading an in-house team of 30 plus service partners.  The UK Head Quarters has already seen improvements in its client survey scores of 20%.

Louise is married with two daughters, Eve 14 and Isabel 12.  Louise faces additional challenges as Eve was born with a rare chromosome abnormality and has special needs.  Other interests are running (Louise will be running the London Marathon for the 2nd time in 2010), food and drink.
