I am particularly delighted to win this award in a year that has been challenging for our industry and when the role of women in finance has been front of mind for many. It is my duty as a senior woman on the Barclays Stockbrokers management team to motivate and encourage other women within Barclays Wealth to maximise their contribution to the financial industry and ensure that integrity underpins everything we do.

It is a testament to the quality of female professionals in the City to be considered amongst a group of such high calibre professionals. This award will be extremely well received by the men and women at Barclays and in particular by the growing cohort of members of the Women’s initiatives Network, as we strive to drive forward the pace of change.
