Women in the City Category Awards

Launched in 2007, the Category Awards recognise senior and partner level women working in professional services who are actively supporting the progress of women within their organisation, sector and the wider business world.

Eligible women should be working for professional practices or organisations based in London's business hubs - Canary Wharf, the City and West End. She should hold a professional qualification applicable to the sector and be practising in that profession. Women working within a professional practice or organisation in a support role such as HR, Business Development, Marketing, etc are NOT eligible.

There are six award categories within the Woman of Achievement Award. Most of the Category Awards are endorsed by a relevant professional organisation which helps to promote the awards, provides a Judging Panel that adds to the rigour of the judging process and presents the Category Winner with her Award Winner's certificate.
