Launched in 2010 and sponsored by Barclays Wealth, The Future Leaders Award recognises the achievements of potential of fast-track women in the early stages of their career

The Winner of the Future Leaders award will be someone exceptional. She will, at a relatively young age, be making a contribution beyond her functional, technical or specialist area and will be committed to her personal and professional development and have a heightened sense of self-awareness. The Judging Panel will also be assessing her strategic networking capability and her leadership potential.

The Award Timetable

  • Nominations open mid-March.
  • Closing date for nominations end April.
  • Application forms will be sent to Nominees from early April.
  • Closing date for Applications early May.
  • Celebration Evening for Applicants and their Nominators mid-May.
  • Short-listing of Applicants mid-May.
  • Panel Interviews for short-listed Candidates (max 10 individuals) mid-June.
  • Breakfast for Finalists (max 5 individuals) early July.
  • Award Ceremony and announcement of winner early July.
