A MESSAGE FROM GWEN RHYS

I hosted my first Women in the City Lunch in November 2003.  The sheer energy and buzz created by bringing together 200 like-minded professional women was indescribable. Everyone demanded more.

Four years later, in 2007, we introduced our Awards.  These celebrate women’s leadership qualities, their commitment to developing other females within their own organisations, and their ability to nurture networks.

That said, rather than develop our own membership network, we want to work with existing women's networks and add value to what they're already offering.

Our ambition is for the Women in the City Lunch and Awards to become an international event so we're keen to develop long-term partnerships with those who share and can support our future plans. .
