Gwen's City connection began in 1993 when she became one of the first female Liverymen of the Worshipful Company of Glass Sellers. She is also a member of the Queenhithe Ward Club.

Chief Executive of Networking Culture Limited, whose client base includes the City's professional practices and financial institutions, Gwen works with a range of organisations including major corporates, charities, trade and business associations and universities, supporting their employees to develop powerful business relationships both internally and externally.

Gwen is a frequent and inspirational conference presenter and Chair.  Her gatherings have what others describe as "that special atmosphere".

She is a past member of the Fundraising Committee for the fpa and the 2006 Manja Leigh Committee of the London-wide breast cancer charity, Cancerkin. Gwen is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and became a Town Councillor in 2007.
