Our Main judging Panel met on 12 June to meet and interview our ten shortlisted panellists. All were impressive and all had great assets that make them Future Leaders.
After some deliberation and discussion, the panel agreed that our 2015 Future Leader Award winner is Keily Blair.
Keily is a Senior Associate with Morrison and Foerster in the Litigation practice. She is considered an emerging expert in the field of anti bribery and corruption. As well as a busy work schedule Keily also finds time to mentor others, volunteers with ‘Opportunity Now’ and ‘Inspiring The Future’ projects. She has also established and led a Lean-In circle of senior female professionals, co-chairing the Mo-Women London group.
Women in the City Founder and CEO Gwen Rhys said of Keily:
Keily Blair made a strong impression on all the members of the Judging Panel, which isn’t an easy thing to do when you are competing against a group of talented finalists. She has also built a very credible reputation in her field of professional expertise and firmly acknowledges that she has a responsibility to be a role model for others. Her determination to be a visible and authentic leader who stands for diversity and integrity, as well as actively engaging with a variety of groups and initiatives, is what sets Keily apart from the crowd.
On winning the award Keily said:
I am honoured and grateful to receive this Award. The Women in the City Future Leaders Award has increased the visibility of women in the workplace as leaders. I will use this Award as a platform to inspire future generations of women in the City to seek out and adopt leadership roles within their organizations and to encourage women to be the change they want to see in the world.
Congratulations to Keily from all of us at Women in the City!
