2009

Our speaker was Gillian Tett. Award winning journalist who oversees global coverage of the financial markets for the Financial Times, the world's leading newspaper covering the financial markets.

2008

Our speaker was Ruth Steinholtz. Fomer General Counsel for Borealis AG, Ruth captivated the audience with her topic focussing on the management of multi-cultural teams.

2007

We welcomed Margaret Heffernan, well known female entrepreneur, corporate leader, "secret millionaire" and author as our guest speaker.

2006

Professor Susan Vinnicombe, OBE, MA, PhD, MCIM, FRSA, Director of the Centre for developing women leaders at Cranfield University shared her research into the progress of women into senior roles.

2005

Baroness Hogg is a non-executive Director and Senior Independent Director of the BG Group. She is a former head of the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit and has extensive experience of business, government and the media. She is chairman of 3i Group plc and Frontier Economics Ltd, a non-executive director of Cadbury plc and is deputy chairman of the Financial Reporting Council.

2004

Baroness Wilcox is a former non-executive director of Cadbury plc and currently a non-executive director of Carpetright plc and Johnson Services plc. She has a strong background in consumer rights and coming from a Plymouth fishing family has been involved in some way in the fishing industry all her life.
