Alderman Dr Andrew Parmley, Principal of The Harrodian School in West London will present the 2014 Future Leaders Award Winner with her prize at the Celebration Breakfast and Symposium on 11 July.
Dr Parmley became Alderman for Vintry Ward in 2001 and his mission for the City is to promote Education, Training and Qualifications across the full spectrum of disciplines, together with the Arts and the financial and commercial City.
He has been Chairman of both the City of London School for Girls and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
Beyond the City, Andrew is President of the National Coalition-Building Institute and Chairman of the Montessori St Nicholas Charity and a supporter of many other charities including the Leukaemia Research Fund and the Sons and Friends of the Clergy. In 2012, he raised the funds for the Royal Diamond Jubilee Ring of Bells and in 2013 he was a founding director of Thomson House free school in Mortlake. He is also a Governor of St Paul’s Cathedral Choir School and an adviser to The Independent School due to open in September, this year.
He is Patron of several choirs and instrumental ensembles and is a Director of a variety of companies, some of which have charitable objectives.
