Hospitality Team Member becomes an Associate at Allen & Overy LLP
In 2007, Chandni Sood, a law student at City University, became the first member of the Women in the City Hospitality. She recruited some of her fellow students to join the Team and the rest, as they say, is history.
Like many students Chandni found it difficult to get a training contract when she left university, but she continued to be part of our Team and used the contacts she met to gain more insight into the legal profession.
Eventually she took a job as a paralegal with Allen & Overy. Persistence paid off and Chandni got her training contract with the firm. On finishing a 6-month secondment in Dubai in early March 2014, she qualified as an Associate with Allen & Overy and will join the firm’s Intellectual Property department towards the end of April.
