Calling students and young professionals – build career connections

28 June, 2016 By WiC

Hospitality Team

Being part of the Hospitality Team offers a valuable opportunity to students and young professions enabling them to network with senior level women and men; discover more about career options within the City and beyond; develop social skills; enhance their confidence in social situations and give them something very positive to put on their CVs and talk about at job interviews.

When Chandni Sood joined the Greeting Team in 2007 she was an undergraduate law student at City University.  Now a solicitor at Allen & Overy, she describes the benefits of being a member of the  Team.

As well as attending and helping at the glamorous and prestigious awards function, it is a chance to meet the most influential women in the City from every field. In a nutshell, it is a chance to network, connect and make friends whilst having a great time! I would thoroughly recommend this for every aspiring student – it can really open doors for the future.

Our Hospitality Team members gain internships, work experience and job opportunities as a direct result of being part of the Team.  As you can see from some of the images below, Team members have even spoke at our events.

As a Team member you’ll attend the main events during the Women in the City calendar (Future Leaders Award, Annual Lunch) as well as our occasional evening events.

We’re now recruiting for volunteers for September onwards.

If you’d like to join the Team, please complete the short Application Form.
