H E L P!!! Bail Gwen Rhys out of The Tower

25 March, 2015 By WiC

Convict

As the Master Glass Seller, our Founder and CEO, Gwen Rhys,  has been invited by the Lord Mayor, Alderman Alan Yarrow and the Lady Mayoress to be Jailed & Bailed at The Tower on 19 June.

Get Gwen out NOW

The day starts at 10.30am with coffee in the Mansion House but she’ll hardly have time to drink it before The City of London Police will arrest her – goodness knows what the charges will be (but you know, she doesn’t always behave herself!) – and she’ll be transported to The Tower where she’ll remain until her Bail sum of £1000 is reached.

What’s more, she tells us she’ll be on water rations (courtesy of Pol Roger) which we suspect might well be sparkling!

Get Gwen out NOW

Gwen had lunch with the Judges at the Old Bailey at the end of March. “Remember you’re innocent until proven guilty” they reminded her, but she doesn’t think they’ll help her get out on the day as she thinks they’re probably in cahoots with the Police, so she’s relying on YOU!

We need her at Women in the City and, more importantly, her cat (who thinks he IS the Lord Mayor and has a bit of a wine habit himself) needs to be feed and she has lots of exciting Livery events to attend in the coming months.

Your donation will not only help secure her release but also support the British Red Cross in all its good work.

REMEMBER

Bail is set at £1000
but we know with your help
she’ll raise MUCH MORE!!!!
