We’re delighted that Sheriff Fiona Adler has kindly agreed to present this year’s Woman in the City Future Leaders Award Winners and Woman of Achievement Award Winner with their trophies at our Annual Celebration Lunch on 28 November at Plaisterers’ Hall in the heart of the City of London.
Fiona attended last year’s lunch as the guest of De Bradshaw, a Women in the City Diamond Champion and long-term supporter of our activities and we’re delighted that Fiona’s busy City schedule enables her to join us again this year.
After university she emigrated to South Africa to train in structural engineering and stayed there for 10 years before returning to the UK to work in the Tobacco Trade. She travelled to Europe, America, China and other Far Eastern countries, promoting UK manufactured products. Her role, expanding and diversifying the business, culminated in her appointment as joint Managing Director.
After selling her shareholdings in five diversified businesses in 2000, she retrained as a Neuro Linguistic Programme (NLP) coach and practices in Hampshire specialising in helping children to overcome bullying.
Fiona will serve as Sheriff for one year from 28 September 2014.
