Woman of Achievement

Recognising women championing the progress of women

Launched in 2007, the Women in the City Woman of Achievement Award recognises senior level women who are actively promoting and encouraging the progress of women above and beyond their everyday job.

Following nomination and completion of an Application form, a maximum of 5 candidates per Category are selected by the Candidate Selection Panel to go forward as Category Award Finalists. Their Application forms are reviewed by the Category Adjudication Panel which selects its Category Winner.

Finally the Category Winners are interviewed and one becomes the year’s Woman of Achievement.

@myldn I've been to a Garden Party at Buck Palace. It was a very special occasion and l was served ordinary finger sandwiches, just as you'd expect at an afternoon tea.

@MarissaPwC Here we are, nearly a quarter of the way into the 21st Century and still experiencing outright sexism of the very worst and cheapest kind. Respect to @Amandas_Shoes our 2008 Woman of Achievement Award Winner.

Is your organisation committed to #socialmobility? If so, why not consider taking on a young person from the #apprenticeship #academy linked to @COLA_Trust

For an article I'm writing I'm looking to speak to working women who are going through peri/menopause and might have found that WFH or remote working has made handling their symptoms while working easier. Is this you? DM me! @WomenintheCity @PRJournoRequest #journorequest
